A night to remember....

An amazing night was hosted by John Huddy at the Illustration Cupboard last Thursday. Lots of family and friends were there. John did an amazing job; the illustrations were beautifully displayed and glittered under the lights. David Lloyd said some words, about 'Poor Cinderella!' and lots about fishing...Thank you David :-) I also met Max Eilenberg for the first time, which was just lovely. After lots of sips champagne, and some yummy nibbles we tottered off to Cocoon to celebrate. Yvonne and Pauline stayed out past midnight but I heard the bells a ringing and hightailed it before my carriage turned back into a pumpkin!

Wonderful photos! I'll be there for the final days, at least, and meanwhile still begging the railway to start running some later trains for us rural folks--sometimes it's hard to miss out on all the fun.

I've been spotting Miss C. on display more and more these days, first in Sligo and now in Enniskillen. She seems a favourite for putting on top of display units and bookshelves: very eye-catching!

Thanks Susan I have been enjoying reading your blog this morning! Would you like to meet up at some stage? Where are you based?
Are you going to be in London before my show finishes? I live in Dublin so if you ever up here we could meet for coffee:-)

I'm out on the Leitrim/Cavan border, but heading for Octocon next Friday, and end up in Dublin for one thing or another every month or two. Meeting up would be splendid (I can show you the doodles I got out of our carers support group, on your encouragement!)
