The shortlist for this year's prize to honour 'oustanding illustration in a children's book' has been announced here and you can see them here.
I am delighted to see that Viviane Schwarz's There Are Cats in this Book is on the shortlist. I reviewed it back last November here as it was a huge hit in our house!
Neil Gaiman and Chris Riddell's 'The Graveyard Book' has a 'double shortlisting', with both writer and illustrator being nominated for a medal. There is a great look inside the mind of a Greenway judge here and a lovely run through the covers on the Guardian site here.
