I was planning a mid week break and something terrible has happened!
I have been Trapped By Monsters!
I read a while back about a spate of Children’s Authors who were taken hostage by some really unhappy monsters. It seems that the Monsters are tired of being ridiculed, abused and slaughtered for the entertainment of children.
So they are forcing top authors to blog about brilliant books, post exclusive stories and give away secret writing tips in return for food, toilet roll and the freedom to visit the occasional school, library or bookshop.
But I was just going away for a well deserved break. I was just minding my own business. This is NOT what I had in mind!
Coming face to face with a Monster!
I have my notebook, a few pencils and pens and my trusty iphone. I'll send some doodles and photos when I can....

Niamh, this is your sister... where are you????? I went around to your house and all I could find was a trail of drool leading to your studio, and some funny looking footprints!! It smelled abit funny too... abit like the smelliest smelly Zoo ever!! Drop me a line a let us know you're ok xx
Emer....The drool is a nightmare! Can you send me some waterproofs c/o the caves, hopefully it will get to me....
