Just back from the Dalkey Book Festival and it was so wonderful to be part of it. Imagine a small seaside town busting and bustling with adult and children's literature events on all weekend. It was a very ambitious festival but a total sell out! The atmosphere on the streets was wonderful and I popped into The Tramyard Gallery to look at Brian Fitzgerald's Bloomsday illustrations which are wonderful. And the sun shone too...wow! Here's me and Don Conroy enjoying a cup of coffee together after our events.
